Using the data collated in EDGAR, departments and agencies are to report on their energy performance and progress towards energy use targets as part of their annual reports. This option is not mandatory, but it will be an indicator of the departments and agencies' commitment to reducing energy and greenhouse gas emissions.

An Appendix to the Financial Report will be included to detail the following information.
